Verizon iPhone 4 now available to order online

first_imgThe Verizon iPhone 4 will be available on February 10. Pre-orders for existing customers began on Februay 3rd, and promptly sold out within 24 hours. We don’t know how many handsets were allocated for the pre-orders, but analyst estimates put Verizon’s initial allotment for the launch (both pre-orders and at retail) at 2 million units.Today Verizon has opened up orders for new customers via its website. The 16GB iPhone 4 will cost $199.99 with a 2-year contract and data plan. The 32GB version is $299.99 for the same contract deal. Unfortunately, although the phone will be available from February 10, Verizon state that anyone ordering online won’t get one until at least February 18.AdChoices广告So, do you order today and wait, or queue up at stores tomorrow in the hope of getting one? If you’ve waited this long for an iPhone 4, then another 8 days won’t kill you. There’s also a chance that you go to a store tomorrow, find they have no stock left, and return to the Verizon website to find delivery estimates have gone back due to demand.The safe bet is to order today, and early to ensure you get one on the 18th.
